Banana Bread 11
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Combine above in a bowl. 1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 c. sugar
5 ripe bananas, about 3 c.
4 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. For large loaf cook 55 minutes, for small loaf cook for 45 minutes. In a bowl, mash bananas. Beat butter, sugars, eggs until creamy. Mix bananas into batter. Alternate adding flour mixture and sour cream. Fold in walnuts. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Preparation time: 45 minutes. Total time: 1 3/4 hour.
