Banana Nut Bread 149
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. nuts
Cream butter, sugar; blend in bananas, eggs, and vanilla. Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Add flour mixture to banana mixture, alternating with milk. Mix thoroughly, add nuts. Mix well. Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
