Banana Nut Bread 21
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks margarine
2 eggs (beat before adding)
1/2 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. chopped pecans
3 bananas, mashed
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and bananas. Add flour sifted with soda and salt. Add vanilla, nuts and buttermilk. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, 15 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean. (This is probably the best banana nut bread you'll ever eat. --Editor)
