Banana Nut Bread 89
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 c. ripe mashed bananas
1 c. nuts
Cream together sugar and margarine. Stir in beaten eggs. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Mix into creamed mixture. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Turn into greased and floured rectangular loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Delicious.
