Connie's Banana Bread
3/4 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Blend margarine and sugar; beat until creamy. Add mashed bananas, beat. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl. Mix dry ingredients into margarine and sugar batter; alternately with sour milk. Fold in walnuts. Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool thoroughly on rack before slicing.
