Velvet Banana Bread 2
5 large ripe bananas
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts
Beat bananas until liquid is combined with eggs and set aside. Cream together shortning and sugar until fluffy. Add banana mixture and blend. Add sifted dry ingredients and stir until smooth. Fold in nuts. Pour into two well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
