Banana Whole Wheat Bread


1/2 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. mashed banana
1 c. shredded carrot
1/2 c. chopped walnuts


Beat butter for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Beat in the two eggs. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with the bananas, beating after each addition. Fold in the carrots and walnuts. Bake in two greased loaf pans at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
